I'm back to crafting. Recently I've started crocheting a doily in the memory of my granny, who died last Saturday.

Spin de Fleece is coming up faster than I'd like! lol .. I'm trying to get the schedule and prizes listed, but I'm really short on prizes. Is there anyone who would like to donate a prize to Spin de Fleece this year? It doesn't have to big or expensive.

I'm donating a drawstring bag that I've sewn, and a pair of foldable scissors. (It doesn't even have to be fleece related!).

Please message me or reply to this post if you want to donate something ... or you can Go to the Donations Page - and post directly there.

Thanks in advance for your consideration!

          This is my current WIP.
Just a simple top-down fingering weight cardigan with raglan shaping.
I know, its finished object Friday, but hay, the body's finished in the photo. actually, I took this picture Wednesday. The first sleeve is finished now too.

I am working on multiple WIPs this month, and I finished one of them. I started the pattern again holding two strands of the yarn together to make a larger size. Idare the Bookworm is on the left, and her big brother, Daretobe the Bookworm, is on the right.

ID:	101829Just exploring the site and stumbled on this thread. I have still been working on small projects, mostly knitted and crochet toys. I made a dog from the little cotton rabbits pattern that came out recently. It looks like our little terrier Wiley. Your Wiley looks a little like our Murphy. We don't know his lineage, he was born at the pound, adopted out, returned as "incorrigible" and then we rescued him. He's high energy and I suspect his terrier is Jack Russell, but who knows.

lovestostitch, He was never incorrigible, they just didn't know how to handle a high-energy dog. They need to release that energy EVERY DAY if you don't want destructive and disobedient behaviors. Murph loves both balls and Frisbees, plus chasing and barking at the tractors. He's good and stays away from the tractor tires.

It's sad when people get dogs and just expect them to be perfectly behaved without meeting their needs or training them. Murphy is lucky he was returned and ended up in a nice home with you.

I haven't been around much lately but wanted to stop in and see how everyone is doing. I'm still struggling physically but I am slowly improving. I tend to isolate myself when I'm feeling bad but I'm trying not to do that now because I don't want to lose the lovely bonds that I've been forming with all of you. I have been getting precious little knitting or crochet done but as I get stronger I'm getting more motivated and seeing y'all's projects is definitely helping in that area! I'm really not good company right now but hopefully soon I'll feel up to getting on the zoom with y'all.
Right now my second youngest is in the hospital with heart problems. She's only 27. So for those who pray please keep Virginia in your prayers.
Hopefully soon I'll have some FOs to share again. Or at least some WIPs that I'm actually working on. Hugs everyone.

Thank you so much y'all. There's nothing structural in her heart causing the problem so she will be released tomorrow with a heart monitor for a month and an appointment with her new bestie, the cardiologist.

KnitsWithHorses, good to hear that there is nothing structurally wrong with her heart! Hopefully, with the heart monitor they will be able to figure out what IS going on, and take the necessary steps to remedy the situation. Keeping fingers crossed that it is something that she will either outgrow, or it was just a fluke event, or that is easy to manage or fix!

Okay, I did it. I went to the June Hobby Lobby Clearance event...3 times. As in, there are 3 HL stores within a 15 mile radius of where I live, and I visited all 3 today. I was obviously not the first to arrive at any of them. I encountered a shopper at HL #3 who said she was likely the 2-carts-full shopper I had been told about at HL #2. An order from Herrschners arrived today, also. My yarn stash has greatly expanded. 125 skeins total. Posting now so I don't forget how much I purchased at the end of the week.
