I've been busy working on stockings & scarves for the holidays. I just had to stop and knock out something quick in thread. Ahh, I feel so much better now!

1 gift off the hook! A Tunisian Crochet scarf in Caron Simply Soft Grey Heather & Hayfield Ibiza Marled Grey. It's super squishy! I used a double ended hook and Stitch #32 from "101 Double-Ended Hook Stitches".

This is so lovely. I'm going to have to look into getting the book.

Thanks DJM ! There are 2 versions of the book. The first was published in 2002, then re-introduced in 2010. I don't think there's a huge difference other than a few different photos. I have the earlier version and it's not in very good condition.

So pretty, we need our beanies today, tired of shoveling snow!! We got about 20 inches! My job is the porch and sidewalk, hubby does the driveway with his tractor.

Thanks DJM ! Oh dear! 20"!!! I think you got the short end of the stick in that work load. I'd drive that tractor all day!

DJM thanks! I’m probably going to need to mail it to the receiver. But I think that will have to wait until January.

Sitting here listening to classic Christmas songs to brighten the mood while I finish some Wips. My little seems to love Christmas songs so much! This is just a waffle stitch cowl in super wash wool

DJM thanks! It was supposed to be a Tunisian scarf but I ran out of yarn and my lys didn’t have the color anymore so I had to frog it and do something else.

I finished this Christmas morning and went out and gave it. I’m going to give myself a pat on the back I was super productive this week!

This weekend I found myself needing a quick, instant gratification project. So I made myself a scarf with some super bulky from my stash. Bring on this cold front! Reined Chains Scarf

The stitch work is perfect and it looks so warm and cozy.

Did you use a whole skein? from your stash?

hereami ~ Thanks! I used a whole skein of Hometown USA. Super quick!

I edited my post to include the pattern.

I've finished the last things I will complete this year - a pair of cushion covers using up scraps from other projects. I love cushion covers for stashbusting, they work up quickly and always come in handy. Happy New Year!

Thanks! It's a variant on the Catherine wheel called Harlequin stitch; it's a bit more squared off.
