Happy New Year! So, technically I finished in 2020 (last night), but just finished washing & blocking. I used the Hushed Peace Snowflake Hexagon from CherylDeeCrochet

I like the colors in this blanket.

This is the blanket I made my daughter for Christmas. It’s my very first “throw” blanket. It’s a queen size. I used Pipsqueak self striping yarn and an I hook. I’m so proud of myself. Yes there are mistakes but it’s my first, made by hand and heart and I can’t see the mistakes. I can’t wait to make another one.

Thank you ladies. I didn’t really know what I was doing. Didn’t even think the 7 cakes was going to be enough. Didn’t mean to make it so big either.

It's lovely, and bigger is better in my book - especially with blankets. You can roll yourself up and be so cosy!

It's also perfect for a bed coverlet!

I'm still stashbusting (no surprise there, my stash is huge) so I knocked off this cushion cover.

Thanks - I was inspired by mints, believe it or not (white mint, peppermint and spearmint).

Wow. Your cushion cover looks really nice. What a clever idea for using up some yarn. I also like your color combination.

What a perfect idea around the holidays to go with mint colors!

This one has only been in the pipeline since October 2019 - finally buckled down and finished!

Thanks! It was a long haul but it was worth it. The motif is called Mystic Lantern, the pattern is by Jane Crowfoot.

knitter131 ~ Thank you! It's 13". I'm sure fingering would work. You may come out closer to 18"

Thanks, TexasPurl - I’m debating using fingering or trying my hand at crochet cotton. It’s been years since I’ve used it due to problems with my hands, but I have 1000 yards in my cart...... Still thinking about how to proceed.

I wanted to use that same pattern when I made my daughters blanket but I was using pipsqueak yarn so I went with a simple pattern. I like the colors you chose. I’m happy to see that you used the crochet crowd’s pattern. I will have to go use it too

Just finished this tonight. It’ll go to Project Linus; the yarn was given away at one of our meetings.

I finally finished the collar on this in January. the neckline was too big so I had to redo it several times to get it to draw in enough but still lay smooth.
I worked on it off and on for the last few months
The cream color is not so yellow, more of a natural white.

Thank you K2-Tog and hereami. I haven't really made very many crocheted garments. but I'm really happy with how this turned out. now I just need to find some nice buttons for it!

The yarn is Drops Safran color #05-Light Blue Purple. Its 100% cotton.
