                    I posted this because the shops around here have started selling Christmas items. Not just things that could be used as presents, but things like food that won't last until Christmas unless you have a freezer the size of an aircraft hangar. Merry October!

                      Lightning57 Yes, I will be over it, too. I am sorry for parents with children at this time of year. You see them in the supermarket and the children are saying "Mummy, Mummy, I want that!". By the time Christmas comes, both the parents and the children will be sick of it all. Nearly 3 months is a long time for a child.

                      annekepoot Oh, that is bad - here, at least they are in separate aisles. And, on Boxing Day, when they get the Easter eggs in, they will be in a separate aisle from the cut-price Christmas cards!
