    A New Clock...

I found an old clock in which the mechanism had rusted. I took it apart, removed the mechanism and old hands (they were pretty fragile) and cut out the picture with my x-acto knife...then I used the cutout on top of a picture of Mandy that I wanted to use, cut it to fit where the old picture had been, and taped it in. (Next time I would use glue...it doesn't show in the pictures or at a distance, but up close and at certain angles, you can see the tape.) Bought a nice new mechanism set for it and put it in, put the cover back on, and it's good to go! I'm thinking of doing this in the online business my friend and I are working on...maybe I'll even wood burn some clocks from scratch! Would you buy one?

β€œI want creation to penetrate you with so much admiration that everywhere, wherever you may be, the least plant may bring to you the clear remembrance of the Creator. If you see the grass of the fields, think of human nature, and remember the comparison of the wise Isaiah. β€œAll flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field.”
