I’m looking for knitting patterns that use only mohair. I have 760 yards of a mohair that I am thinking if using all of it for a shawl.

This mohair shawl by Lily Chin is vintage from 1999/2000 Vogue but looks stunning. https://store.vogueknitting.com/p-71...rib-shawl.aspx

There are lots of free shawl patterns at Drops Yarn:

Select within your selection to find options for the weight of yarn you have.
I like this: might look wonderful in your yarn:

I saw this over at LoveCrafts. The pattern is free!
This is a very easy shawl which knits up quickly, this is why it is called "Flotti" from German word "flott" meaning "fast". It is worked from one "wing" to another and looks the same from the right and the wrong side. One skein of Lana Grossa Silkhair Degrade is enough to make this shawl. I used needles number US 6/4 mm and came up with gauge of 16 sts x 22 rows = 10x10 cm /4x4".Last edited by Cablegrrl; 08-09-2019, 04:42 AM.
