    Gift Knits

    Hi everyone!
With the holidays coming, I thought I would share a favorite quick gift knit -- April's Cowl.
I have made and gifted several of these -- it is a free pattern, fun and easy with a nice result. 😀
This is my DIL wearing hers.

Do you have a favorite simple gift knit?

(mod edit to remove thumbnail image. Thanks for sharing the link to the pattern on the designer's blog. At Our Unraveled, our policy is to post our own photos, public domain photos, or photos belonging to designers only if we have the designer's permission.)

If you own a stitch dictionary or--cough--seven, it's pretty easy to make a scarf or cowl from an interesting stitch pattern. The bonus is that you never get bored, making "the same old pattern" over and over again!

Another good gift pattern is Purl Soho's Classic Cuffed Hat. It is a free pattern and includes sizes baby through adult.
Here are two I made for children: (photo is mine)
