I've come to the conclusion that collecting yarn, and using yarn are two entirely separate hobbies.

This knit knot bag has a wintery design, but the design can be substituted for stockinette stitch for a year round knot bag. The bag measures approximately 8" wide by 10" tall.

      Needle size: US 5
Gauge: 5 stitches and 7 rows per inch (not critical but yardage and size may vary)
Yarn: DK weight yarn, approx 70 grams, 170 yards

        Nonotuck Silken Lace Bag

In 1886, the Nonotuck Silk Company published a book of knitting patterns for their Florence silk yarn. Originally used in one of their silken mittens, this simple lace pattern is equally lovely in this small drawstring bag. Knit it in a yarn with good stitch definition to make the lace stand out.

You will need about 100 yards of fingering or sport weight yarn, and 24" of ribbon or cord for the drawstring.

I needed a baby blanket as a gift for a neighbor, and I wanted it machine-washable because - duh - I know what new moms need! I found this yarn at Walmart and thought it was super cute. However, I didn't have a pattern for this thick yarn ... so I made one up. You can find the pattern here: https://peggthomas.com/2020/10/06/ca...-baby-blanket/

            Soap Bar Bag

Made for Dr. Bronner’s 5oz Soap Bars, but fits most standard sized bars of soap. Exfoliate as you soap up with the gentle scrubby texture of seed stitch in worsted cotton. Use the very last bit of your soap. No more waste and no need for those environmentally unfriendly poofs!

Uses less than half a skein of Knit Picks Dishie Multi.

            Available on Lovecrafts & Rav.

                  Daily Facial Washcloths

Three simple double-sided washcloths made up of only knits and purls.

I used KnitPicks Shine Worsted, but you can choose whatever worsted or DK you like.

                  Yarn weight: Worsted (9 wpi)
Gauge: 18 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches in Seed Stitch
                  Needle size: US 4 - 3.5 mm
                  Yardage: 35 - 75 yards (32 - 69 m)
                  Size: approx 8 1/2" square

Note: Gauge is not critical. I like a tight-knit cloth. Use what size needle gives you the fabric you like, but keep in mind your yarn usage may vary. I used approx 40g.

                  Written instruction and chart provided.

Download all three on Payhip or individually from my Ravelry store.
